University at Buffalo
If we host the conference on campus May 17-20, 2021, the conference sessions will take place on UB's North Campus, in 20 Knox Hall. This is an auditorium-style lecture classroom with long tabletops and fixed chairs. There are two accessible tables on the floor level of the tiered room. The room is outfitted with a Windows desktop computer; projector; HDMI, VGA, and portable device adapter ring inputs; document camera; assistive listening system; sound system with microphone, handheld wireless mic, and lapel mic; and whiteboard.
Reception
Subject to change, the Local Planning Committee is favoring the historic Shea's Performing Arts Center for the 2021 Code4Lib reception site. The theater opened in 1926 and originally showed silent movies before becoming a theater featuring Broadway musicals. Designated a National Historic Site in 1975, it is one of the few theaters in the country that has a working Wurlitzer organ.

This hotel is located downtown, 15 miles from UB's North Campus. It is on the Metro Rail line and near many Buffalo attractions. If we host the conference on North Campus in March 2021, a quick train ride gets you from downtown to South Campus, where you would take the UB Stampede bus to North Campus.

This hotel is located 2.2 miles from UB's North Campus. If we host the conference on North Campus in March or May 2021, we will organize a shuttle service to take you back and forth to campus. To get downtown to do some exploring, you would take the UB Stampede bus from North Campus to South Campus and then hop on the Metro for a quick train ride downtown.
